hata ungesema ni Zim$s. it would have been a little funny…

On a serious note, @gashwin, mbona unatetea huyu mama hivi na makosa imefanyika?

because people are refusing to focus on who should be answering the questions. si katai makosa yamefanyika but the person supposed to be answering the questions is the The Accounting Officer. Hii mambo ya kutumia the fight against corruption as a political weapon ni upussy…

People will crucify you for that but sadly that is the bigger picture.

where was the CS while the “accounting officer” was engaging in such malpractices.

The accounting officer should be held liable, yes, but remember they are just another cog in the machine, but the CS is the boss. There is a reason why CEOs get paid so much and that is because the buck stops with them they can not pass it to anyone else. The CS is supposed to be on the know about the operations in her office and is being persecuted for her incompetency. She is being asked to step aside so that investigations can be done to determine how the money disappeared. There have been other CSs that have stepped aside for investigations what is her merit for not doing so?

At which point are we supposed to start the fight against corruption when every suspect cries of political assassination?

I will tell the fucking truth the way knuckleheads will not dare think it. Evil triumphs not because of the power of the villains but because ‘good people’ do nothing to stop them. This BS of the CS hiding her head in the sand is detrimental to progress. Theft happened within her fucking stinking docket. She has a moral obligation to bring the wrong doers to book if she is not one of them.

I repeat, women are being targeted here (read Waiguru)

Waiguru should take political responsibility by resigning. Accounting officers should be fired and charged in court with abuse of office

I try to figure out who is worse…Waiguru who cant own up and resign? Uhuru who cant fire her? or Mp who cant impeach her? this is going way too much. trying to make this scandals look more of comedy to make Kenyans loose track!!!..

That spending is a tip of the iceberg. Problem is that Waiguru doesnt have chills and takes no responsibility meaning guys in her ministry can go on and steal as much as they want mtu akishikwa ni shauri yake, such is the mentality here. She is failing in her responsibility.

in a certain interview with the standard, the Ps alisema he had delegated some of his functions to his junior accountants and thus can’t be held responsible for the loss of funds… hapo ndio nilijua similar kwisha

Accounting officer is solely responsible when money gets lost but Waiguru solely takes the credit when NYS builds toilets in slums…Ok:confused:

Martin Winterkorn resigned as chief executive of Volkswagen taking responsibility for an emissions cheating scandal that has gravely damaged the car maker’s reputation.

“As C.E.O., I accept responsibility for the irregularities that have been found in diesel engines,” Mr. Winterkorn, 68, said in a statement.

But Mr. Winterkorn, who had run the company since 2007, continued to insist that he had personally committed no misconduct. “I am not aware of any wrongdoing on my part,” he said.
