In my campus days na vile nilikuwa mlevi i never came across guys from Kiambu area sana sana Ruaka,Muchatha,Banana,Ndenderu,Ndumberi,Kiambu town.But i was in JKUAT and mnajua siku za Moi kuingia huko the grade had to be strong.B+ was not making it to campus in those days,so you can imagine.

Now while having a conversation with an elderly man ananiambia sasa “matoto yetu ilikataa kusoma,ndio unaona tunauza mashamba ndio tukajijengee mahali petu kwa sababu ile urithi tuliwapea wamekunywa yote na wanataka kurudi hapa”

Kind of pitied him but he has totally given up on the sons and bequeathed two rentals in Ruaka to his daughters who live abroad.

This is the second man to mention that sons of Kiambu na masomo hawapatani,but sio juu ya kuwa wajinga,ni uzembe plus the notion that their folks are rich.

You are wrong. The case is totally different in places like Nyeri. Huko watu wamesoma bila mchezo. Out of the top 100 top schools countrywide, at least 15 are from Nyeri and take a lot of students to university.
