I have been watching Vybez Kartel shows on youtube. Verdict: He is more of a studio artist and great lyrist but stage performance ako poor. Also, his voice is doctored alot in the studio

Kuna kitu inaitwa mixxing, mastering, pitch control na autotune. No wonder you find many musicians voices sound off when performing in a live audience. Also Vybz Kartel is old dude is 49 years old and cant recreate performances like used to when he was in his 30s.

kartel made over $1million in streaming alone…ata american artists dont make that much in streaming.. he’s top earning and streamed dancehall artist in the world. Made $14m in the concert, nominated for a grammy… i don’t think that was his peak

The artists cut of money from streaming is less than 20% and that includes money for promoters, music videos, groupies, drugs and alcohol. It’s part of the reason that Lizard guy was killed and his body cut up into little pieces and fed to pigs or something.. that kind of aggravated murder can only happen over money.

13 years later and mans is free. Court is a joke.

Yeah. Once you’ve lived in a dysfunctional court system for decades, such things become commonplace. That’s why extreme violence like mob justice and setting people on fire are so common in this country.

James Gichuru was the correct decision. The first shiney eye to prove me wrong, earns my respect.
