Incoming United Nations chief Antonio Guterres on Thursday appointed Nigeria’s Environment Minister Amina Mohamed as his deputy secretary-general amid a push by more than a third of the 193 U.N. member states for gender parity at the world body.

Which of the two is appointed?

Yahoo just googled Amina Mohamed and used the first photo they found. Jubilee’s Amina is going to lead AU where she’ll ensure the death of ICC.
It’s also possible the UN head meant to appoint Kenya’s Amina but stumbled on the Nigerian one.

And I thought this ICC treaty is a matter for individual countries to decide through their legislative assemblies.

Kweli.Amina alikuwepo hata kabla Jubilee kubuniwa.

I consider our Amina more accomplished than the Nigerian one. Unfortunately we may only see our Amina in local political lenses but reading her profile one may be tempted to imagine that she was actually the intended appointee.

The UN is a useless organization… a toothless dog… or a dickless man

ICC has been discussed at AU before. Setting the agenda for anti-colonialist initiatives in member countries.

This works just as well. Like someone said above our Amina seems more qualified and fitting. So sio ajabu huyo mzungu amechanganyikiwa.
