This happens in most prisons because guards don’t earn shit. A rich prisoner and a broke female guard is all you need for sex to happen. It is also all you need to smuggle contraband into the prison.
All humans are corrupt and will take the shortest path to success. A female prison guard earning say 30k per month will sleep with inmates for cash especially if she has kids to feed and no husband or a broke one. The same can be said about most guards with regard to smuggling contraband. It is human nature!
Place a broke woman and a rich man in any environment and sex will happen soon enough.

Happens alot in womens prison too, the male guards will offer cigarettes for those that want sex, But in this case the prisoners likely leaked it cause she was told to do something and she refused like smuggle a larger amount of contraband ect: they burn her and they dont get a bigger punishment, but she gets thrown in jail so when they at the worst get their stuff (phones and contraband) taken off them.

the reason those prisoners have to con fellows is coz life in there is so harsh, and expensive. Halafu coz of stigma he had to pay his relatives in order to come visit him, and buy shopping for him. He even earned money to pay for his appeal lawyers from inside prison…
