Shock gripped a village in Bungoma county after a man had his genitals crushed with a hammer when he was caught red handed in another man’s house apparently sleeping with his wife.
It is said that David Barasa, a middle-edged man, was caught sleeping with Joseph Wanjala’s wife in his house upon which he met the cruel fate.
According to eye witnesses, Wanjala came to his house unannounced at night and knocked but his wife took unusually long to open the door.
He thus raised the alarm that was responded to by neighbors who managed to break open the door and stumbled upon Barasa.
Mob justice was meted on him before Wanjala apparently used a hammer to crush Barasa’s genitals.
He is currently receiving treatment at a private hospital in Bungoma town.
Neighbours told journalists that Wanjala’s wife has a tendency of inviting young men into her house when the husband is way only that this time her proverbial forty days were nigh.
The incident comes barely a month after another man was killed after being caught red handed sleeping with another’s wife in Bungoma.
William Mariskuot, who resides in Nairobi due to work, apparently arrived at his Bungoma home in Kanduyi Constituency unannounced a little past 9pm, and found Simon Wafula with his wife Stella Nyolo naked in bed.
Mariskuot then pounced on the man, and gave him a thorough beating, sending him back to his creator.
Nurses in Bungoma have threatened to down their tools as from Monday blaming
the government of ducking to sign a collective bargain agreement hence
causing an impasse between the Kenya National Union of Nurses (KUNUNU)
and the Ministry of Health.
Led by the branch secretary George Musundi Shiveka the nurses said that
they were tired of the way the government had been handling the sector
and vowed to paralyze the health sector on Monday to force the government
to yield to their demands.
