Gachui, my brother, this is public record.
And who gave macharia those frequencies? Hata 2013 ulikuwa anti Uhuru na haikufanya walose
as far as i know macharia’s tiff with moi was about his earlier businesses especially madhupaper, royal card. macharia’s tiff with government in connection with his media business was during the kibaki administration when he thought he was too powerful he could allocate himself frequencies and grab others. cck (then) dismantled his illegal transmitters. kibaki told him everybody must follow the law. macharia started a vendetta whose most recent tantrum was an assertion recently before a parliamentary committee that kibaki never won 2007.
what record is that?
On this thread you’ll see several examples of excuses people use to vote for their tribe:
[ol]
[li]It’s not so bad[/li][li]The other guy would have done worse[/li][li]All the other stuff the other guy has supposedly done is all just rumours.[/li][/ol]
Apparently if you go round and analyse people’s thoughts on who they would want to vote, u will choke yourself! The schooled will be like they never went to a class of critical thinking. Its either personal interests (sharing the loot from corruption) or sheer stupidly pegged to Tribalism. Sjai ona wakenya tukiwa wajinga namna hii 2017
BTW urban legend has it that Macharia’s tiff with Moi was more personal, that it had to do with one, Gathoni, who was then a rather attractive cop, who moi dated until macharia came into the picture and swept her off her feet with his wads of cash, poor moi couldn’t compete :D:D
What’s yours? 1, 2 or 3?
If you opened your brains kidogo and did your research you would have seen this
It was July 31, 1990 – and at the height of the clamour for political pluralism – that some five young Kenyans in their mid- to late-20s made a strong case for the opening up of the political space thereby joining a growing chorus then for the ruling party Kanu to relax its grip on power.
…
Among the five young Kenyans who had the nerve to take on President Moi was one lanky, shy-looking youth who went by the name Uhuru Kenyatta.
Some history there dude
The day young Uhuru earned his family name - The Standard
really sir? you clearly state “when moi was hard on raila,…” then post a story about how uhuru was among a group of people who were asking for democracy at a conference 26yrs ago!
I know you want the story to fit really bad, but chill bana. najua very soon tutaskia vile uhuru fought for indpendnce.
you, Sir, should not muddy the waters just for the sake of argument. i know that citation caught you like a broadside…but that is our recent history…
sir, confirm; anywhere in the article where Raila is mentioned, or even closer home, where Uhuru and Raila are connected. Thanks in advance.
That article is a silly attempt to give uhuru a greater role in a part of history to which he contributed very little or maybe nothing at all. Let Uhuru write his history now. This guy has the pen in his hand and he’s just there twiddling his thumbs.
okey, i saw that coming from you. i however think you are old enough to know what was happening in that critical period in our history; and the players who were there and their roles…
Na vile you were coming at me hammer and tongs! :D:D:D We cannot force things to fit just to suit a certain narrative. I think you should be beyond that. Asubuhi njema.
It is a chronicle of history. The question is did the event happen? Beyond that is rhetoric that you are engaged in. Why is it that we want to take at face value the argument that Raila loves and has supported kikuyus but when an article showing Uhuru also sided with Raila you start questioning the intent of the writer?
Hahaaa learn to infer reading, ‘when’ is an adverb of time of ‘when moi was hard on raila’ is an adverbial phrase denoting a period, 1990 was moi was hard on jaramogi, raila and others, so hard so that he had live bullets shot at the “dissenting voices”. Raila had gone to exile after moi’s hardness on him had become unbearable. That is the time when Uhuru and others make the referred press conference. Whats your argument again? That the above didnt happen? That moi was never hard on raila at any given time in history? That there were no dissenting voices in Kenya? Or that moi was never president?
Because the article was written in february 2013 at the height of presidential campaigns and I haven’t really said anything about Raila.
Wow! :D:D:D Na umesema nitumie akili hapo juu. Ossorait, ossokei.
I don’t know or care what Uthamaki is coz I don’t get handouts from State House, neither have I been given a state job, but my vote is for Jubilee.
