Using Chatgpt to fake receipts!

Company niko uses some system kuclaim back expenses on vitu kama client dinner na marketing costs etc. Juzi kuna mtu alitry scamming like 25k expenses ikajulikana ni fake receipt. The system haikuona receipt yenyewe looks so real ata sijui ilipatikana aje. Guess juu ilikuwa 25k, ingekuwa less than 20k haingepita checks kadhaa. Now nashangaa how many people have been doing that, i have used chatgpt nikapata a reaslitic looking receipt haraka sana yenye technically naeza tumia kuitisha refund.

But sasa anyone can do it…kitambo you had to have the skill kama photoshop etc or unalipa msee which meant that watu kadhaa wangejaribu hii scam. Now kila employee ni suspect

While AI is good, if you do regularly need receipt, unaeza nunua a thermal printer for about 5k. I did that almost 10years ago around 2016 when I started working for some foreign company and they refunded stuff. Nilikula sawa sawa especially when they offered to let me get stuff for home office. Good times. People are now using AI to also check for computer generated images and such. Hapo kwa thermal printer you can even start selling the receipts for a 10% fee on the value of the receipt. You can visit places around and keep smaples, unakuwa na ready templates.

You can’t create a receipt with just one prompt .Unafaa kuwa na serious editing skills. Combine that with a thermal printer you are good to go .

So what people do ni wanaenda place wanaandikiwa receipt which value yake ni more than actual cost. They pocket the rest

Eee but shida ni sasa it involves a lot of risk kutafuta place na msee wa huko ndani akubali kufanya iyo scam na wewe.. na you have to give them a cut! You make very little to the point it’s not worth it.

You’ll be suprised how easy it is to get that! Kuna story najua hadi ya fake invoices submitted by whole big company. Kenyans are not honest people.
