USA planned Turkey coup while Putin Russia warned Ankara just on time to defeat it

Erdogan owes his life to Moscow who prevented US led Coup
Tuesday, 19 July 2016

The Turkish coup was originally planned for August, when the Greek Government was ‘scheduled’ to enter a crisis and be itself couped. This way, the entire Balkan would have entered a critical phase, with an end result of installing puppet Governments subservient to the US and a new iron curtain between US controlled Europe and Russia.

There isn’t a country that didn’t know a coup was underway in Turkey (apparently with the exception of the Turks who were wondering why were there tanks on the Bosphorus bridge). The specific coup-date kept being moved and wasn’t known, however CNN’s Christiana Amanpour helped everyone narrow it down when she set up base in Ankara and Istanbul just two days before the coup. The Pentagon has a special relationship with CNN, and typically lets them know when the US is coup-ing a nation, so they can set up camp and report live. CNN’s Amanpour has managed to get herself banned from several countries; with good reason - when she shows up in a country, something terrible happens to that country. Turkey was no exception. Russia, Iran, Syria… were all aware of a US led coup in Turkey. For this purpose, official Moscow sent one of Putin’s advisers to travel to Ankara. The trip was top secret, no one in Tehran, Damascus or even in Moscow was aware of it, only few select in Putin’s inner circle. Aleksandar Dugin was the man that was sent to Ankara to warn the Turkish leadership, but also to give them a massive list of people involved in the coup.

Coup Begun a month earlier after some of the plotters were discovered

The Turkish government secretly asked its Courts to issue order for the arrest of 2,000 army, navy and air force officials after it became evident something was brewing. The Courts refused, on top of it, some of the judges involved in the Coup tipped off high ranking generals that the Government was suspicious and hot on their trail. As a result, not fully prepared for a coup, the coup was started anyways.

Pilots who downed Su24 involved in coup

For months Moscow tracked the data and voice conversations of the Turkish pilots responsible for the downing of the Russian Su 24 jet. It discovered the two pilots are American implants and were used to shoot down a Russian jet in order to put a major wedge in the otherwise cozy relationship between Ankara and Moscow. The US used the proven British tactic of “divide and conquer”. There were at least several dozen Turkish officers who were American implants at the Incirlik AirBase, the AirForce and the Army as well. All were arrested. To avoid any sort of suspicion or attract attention, Putin’s adviser took an unusual road trip which took Dugin from Moscow to Astana, then to Tehran, Damascus, Nicosia and finally arriving to Ankara where he met with one of Erdogan’s most trusted man, the mayor Melih Gokcek. It’s old school KGB, face-to-face meetings work quite well. The Russians have gathered so much data in the past several months, that they knew precisely when, who and how the coup will start. Initially, Erdogan’s inner team were not told of Dugin’s arrival in Turkey. In the interest of better Russo-Turkish relationship and mutual trust, Erdogan was now officially warned. The warning was also psychological because it came “just in time”, and was meant to show Erdogan and Turkey who their real friends are. Hence the face to face meeting. Putin didn’t have to do what he did, could have warned them 10 minutes before the coup, or don’t warn them at all and simply let everything unfold the way the Americans envisioned.

Turkish Fighter Jets had Erdogan’s plane in sight, but…

After waiting for full 24 hrs not saying absolutely anything, the Pentagon and CIA controlled media in the US went full throttle with propaganda when it became obvious their coup had failed. We saw hastily prepared write ups how allegedly Erdogan has simply staged the coup to grab ‘more power’, adding his presidential plane was in sights of few Turkish F16 yet no one took a shot? First and foremost, the planes that were sent after Erdogan took off from Incirlik Airbase, which is very much controlled by the US-NATO. Second, at no point did the US made an effort to warn the Turkish Government about the coup, yet it has fighter jets taking off from Incirlik, going after Erdogan! Indeed, Erdogan’s plane was followed by several Turkish planes with an intention to shoot him down. Fettulah Gulen in Pennsylvania, a long time CIA asset was getting ready himself to be installed as the new president. What the ‘media’ are not telling you is that 7 Russian fighter jets and two S400 rocket systems in Northern Syria were tracking down the Turkish jets issuing them a warning if the Russian radar systems picked up any activity from them they would be promptly shot down. This is why the Turkish jets never fired, they had ‘company’. Ankara’s mayor didn’t waste a second. Came out on CNN and furiously announced Washington was behind the coup, and yes he had received all the necessary information prior to his announcement. He was the third high ranking Turkish official to accuse the US of leading the coup within a 20 minute span. Why is Erdogan purging generals, judges… Where did he get this list of people tied with the coup? Although the Government had suspects on their own, they received a large list from Moscow as well. This is why the US Ambassador in Ankara is practically in hiding and when he isn’t he is a stuttering mess. But the most interesting thing here is the fact that several Turkish generals have already admitted of taking part in the Coup, and the real kicker, they have also elaborated on the role the US played. The political statements we heard from Washingon have zero credibility, per their usual. There is no explanation how 42 helicopters went missing from Incirlik air base. This is why the Turkish Government encircled the base with 2,500 cops, cut off power to the entire Airbase, defacto telling the US “we know what you’re doing”. In the end, the coup plotters and their tanks in the streets were defeated by unarmed Turkish citizens. //Gorazd Velkovski

Waaa! waiting to see how the tables will turn

:D:D and Israelis are funding ISIS yeah…

This is Russian propaganda. Look at the source

Not really, ISIS was trained, equipped and funded by CIA to overthrow President Assad in Syria. All that happened in Turkey. Once in Syria they went rogue and instead took over a third of Iraq and half of Syria to be defacto a rogue state. A lot of smaller terrorist groups folded and joined ISIS growing its reach and power. ISIS has taken over some oil wells and pipelines, that oil is smuggled through Turkey something that Turkey state officials are making a killing in the black market and effectively funding the terrorist group with millions of dollars a day.

Kenan Evren, the former Turkish president now facing charges in an Ankara court, is only the most recent in a long line of military officers to seize power in a coup.

The military has long seen itself as the “guardian of Turkish democracy”, which it defines as the staunchly secular state created by Mustafa Kemal Ataturk, the founder of the modern Turkish republic. It has directly intervened three times in Turkish politics, and in 1997 it carried out what some scholars describe as a “postmodern coup”.

1960
The first coup in the Turkish republic took place in 1960, during a time of heightened tensions between the Turkish government and the opposition.

The ruling Democratic Party, headed by prime minister Adnan Menderes and president Celal Bayar, began to loosen some of the toughest Ataturk-era rules dealing with religion: it allowed thousands of mosques to reopen, legalised the call to prayer in Arabic instead of Turkish, and opened new schools for religious personnel, among others. It also shortened the period of mandatory military service.

At the same time, it further alienated the opposition by imposing restrictive new press laws and occasionally barring critical newspapers from publishing.

Growing tensions caused the Menderes government to impose martial law in early 1960. The army stepped in and toppled the government on May 27; the president, prime minister and several cabinet members were arrested and quickly tried for treason and other offences. Menderes was executed.

General Cemal Gursel assumed power - as both president and prime minister - beginning a period of military-dominated politics that would last until 1965.

1971
The Turkish economy stagnated in the late 1960s, and the recession caused widespread unrest: workers’ groups staged demonstrations, sometimes violent, and right-wing groups carried out attacks of their own. The currency was devalued in 1960; annual inflation reached nearly 80 percent.

So in March the military intervened once again, an effort to “restore order”, it said. Memduh Tagmac, the chief of the general staff, gave a memorandum to the prime minister, Suleyman Demirel. It accused his government of driving the country into anarchy, and demanded the formation of a “strong and credible government … inspired by Ataturk’s views.”

Demirel resigned hours later, after meeting with his cabinet.

The military did not rule directly during this period. It first asked Nihat Erim, a member of the right-wing Republican People’s Party, to form a caretaker government; it was the first of several which governed Turkey until 1973, when Fahri Koruturk, a retired naval officer, was installed as president by the parliament.

1980
Instability continued even after the 1971 coup: Turkey changed prime ministers 11 times in the 1970s, the economy continued to stagnate, and left and right-wing groups continued their violent clashes in the streets. Thousands of people were assassinated.

The military began discussing a possible coup in late 1979, and in March 1980 a group of generals recommended that they move forward. It was delayed several times, and finally launched in September, when officers announced on state television that they were imposing martial law and dissolving the government.

Evren became president, and a naval officer, Bulent Ulusu, assumed the post of prime minister.

These years of military rule did bring some stability to Turkey. Ulusu was succeeded in 1983 by Turgut Ozal, who is now widely credited with stabilising the Turkish economy by privatising many state-owned industries. Inflation dropped and employment grew.

The military also arrested hundreds of thousands of people; dozens were executed, while many others were tortured or simply disappeared.

A new constitution was drafted and put before a public referendum in 1982; it was overwhelmingly approved.

1997
The 1995 election led to overwhelming gains for the Islamist Welfare party, which took power the following year as the head of a coalition government.

In 1997 the military issued a series of “recommendations”, which the government had no choice but to accept. The prime minister, Necmettin Erbakan, agreed to a compulsory eight-year education programme (to prevent pupis from enrolling in religious schools), a headscarf ban at universities, and other measures. Erbakan was then forced to resign.

The Welfare party was shut down in 1998, and Erbakan was banned from politics for five years.

Some former members of the party, including current prime minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan, would eventually go on to found the Justice and Development Party.

Movement in and out of the Incirlik airbase in southern Turkey was blocked on Saturday by local military authorities. The NATO base stores US tactical nuclear weapons.

Access to the base has now been restored and flights are again allowed in its airspace, Daily Sabah reports, citing the US consulate in Turkey.

Local authorities are denying movements on to and off of Incirlik Air Base. The power there has also been cut,” the US consulate in Adana said in a message.

Please avoid the air base until normal operations have been restored,” it added. No further details were provided.

According to CNN, power to the facility was also cut.

The closure of the airspace reportedly led to a halt in US air strikes against Islamic State (IS, formerly ISIS/ISIL). CNN was told by sources that the Turkish authorities did make an exception for US aircraft that had already been deployed on missions before the airspace was shut and allowed them to land at the base.

The air space was closed for Turkish authorities to complete “anti-coup” operations at the base, where some of the servicemen are suspected of supporting the failed Friday night military uprising. They have now been arrested, Turkish officials say.

The US will continue to cooperate with Turkey in its fight against Islamic State (IS, former ISIS/ISIL), US Secretary of State John Kerry said during his visit to Luxemburg.

US cooperation with Turkey within NATO, as well as in operations in Syria, has not been affected by the coup attempt, Kerry said, adding that the cooperation “continues as before.”

US Central Command (CENTCOM) had to adjust its operations against Islamic State (IS, former ISIS/ISIL) to account for the lockdown at Incirlik airbase, TASS reported, citing sources in Pentagon.

The Incirlik airbase is of critical importance to the US military, as not only does it facilitate the US’ aerial operations against terrorists in neighboring Syria and Iraq, but it is also one of six NATO sites in Europe that house tactical nuclear weapons. The exact number of tactical nuclear bombs at the base is classified, although some reports put it at 50 or even 90.

A group within the Turkish military attempted to stage a coup on Friday night, using tanks and attack helicopters. The conspiracy failed, as they didn’t manage to capture any senior government officials and couldn’t win wide support from the Turkish military.

According to the Turkish Prime Minister, at least 265 people have been killed, including 104 pro-coup participants, while 1,440 people were injured in military action in Istanbul and Ankara overnight. Since the plot crumbled, 2,839 soldiers and officers involved in the coup attempt have been arrested.

Kweli, people here are learned (Googled maybe)!

Conspiracy theories at work.

This is the most plausible twist that I have heard in this saga. More believable than that story that Erdogan initiated his own overthrowing

What about that small issue of Erdogan apologising for the downed Russian Jet?

What about it?

The rapid warming of Russia and Turkey relations from near blown up war to close friends points to the fact that the truths of the coup have been exposed.

the coup was to disorganized to be tied back to the CIA. americans are very thorough they cant organize a 20th century coup in the 21st century. for me the coup has parallels with 1982 coup, authorities knew about the coup, let it happen knowing there is litle chance and sucess and use the coup as a reason for purging of the army and government

if the article had not been written by a pro-Russian, ningeamini shingo upande. But NO. This is pure fiction.

They underestimated the resolve of the Turkish people. If there is one thing i respect in the middle east is that they don’t buy the BS that usa is world policing cop. All regimes that cooperate with them are very unpopular with its own citizens i.e Saudi Arabia Saud regime under heavy guard in their palaces. People watched how the CIA regime change in Iraq, Libya and recently in Ukraine that has ruined those countries. If President Erdogan knew of the coup he wouldn’t have been on air within sight of coup jets. One thing that completely went against the coup is that they failed to bring down all communications networks. People used social media to stay informed and therefore the fear factor of the coup was quickly managed with movements of the loyalist. When President Erdogan called out the people using facebook video link to the streets to confront the troops, they did so in massive numbers, laying infront of tanks and matching to within eye sight of troops. That is what broke the coup not the planning. Turks people power.

Whenever there is some overthrowing of a government of the day the CIA is never far from the planners and funders.

the coup was probably a false flag erdogan has been very good to the CIA and the PENTAGON in their plans to overthrow the legitimate syrian government. turkey provides arms and treatment for ISIS which is what is expected of them. on another not the supposed fighter jets had erdogans jet in their crosshairs but why they did not fire we will not know

True but what is also a puzzle was the sudden about turn between Moscow-Ankara relations weeks before the coup. Ankara had apologized for shooting down the Russian Su-24 jet, was negotiating on compensation and joint inquiry of the “incident”. A planned meeting between the leaders was being discussed. On ISIS the whole thing is ran from Turkey. President Putin mentioned that Turkey was playing both sides and using nato bases in Turkey as leverage as protection. Turkey state is earning revenue from the Syria war and hosting the refugees. Its spy agency, security chiefs and state leaders are earning millions of dollars in the black market sales of stolen oil from ISIS. Germany has been complaining of the same but it couldn’t do anything against a strong usa alley. Russia is just there to reveal the truth, end CIA complete control of Turkey military by winning over President Erdogan.
