UoN already did it for the new students…who are studying from home
Amefanya.
Tertiary inst. Wata pata students sasa kwa wingi…
It’s as if they are intent on ensuring people are uneducated. Mbona wanadharau masomo hivyo?
Everyone should be pushing wilbaros ndio manifesto yao inasema.
Mzazi mjinga ndio anang’ang’ana kupeleka mtoto university. Wangu nimeanza kuwatengenezea makao kama wahindi. Unamaliza mandatory schooling kama umeingia kwa family business.
nice…tunaelewana kabisa…same same
I always wonder - mkizaana kama panya sisi taxpayers wengine tulikuwa? Why should my taxes be used to educate your brats badala ya kunijengea barabara?
Bonobozz need to grow a brain…
We are grossly underpopulated!
I TOTALLY concur.
I just don’t know why Kenyans think that GOOD education is a right.
Mtu ako Shinyalu amezaa watoto 12 lakini anangoja Serikali imsaidie.
You want to compete with China. @Ndindu is always calling people bonobos.
How do you compete with China while you have underfunded universities which can’t conduct research?
Mnataka students wajenge helicopter. If you don’t fund universities properly then wataendelea kujenga hizi :

You must have very low expectations of your children. Kids aren’t just yours to mold into what you want them to be, or what you think is best for them (unless you’re a fucking narcissist). By teenage, they are already their own people with their own opinions and beliefs about the world around them, and it is up to you to help them understand that the world is not all black and white, rich and poor; there are many shades of gray in between. Most importantly, they have their unique talents and skills. I don’t see how denying them tertiary education for the sake of the “family business” helps them express their talents. That’s a recipe for resentment if whatever you’re priming them for isn’t what they want out of life; but then again… maybe it will be!
And why do Kenyans even go to high school???
High school ni ya kazi gani in a 3rd world economy.
Kenyans don’t need highschool. Mtu afunzwe kulima. Highschool is for those who want to go to college.
Mtu kama mechanic anaenda kufanya nini high school???
As it should be.
Watu wanaenda University na wanatoka hawana kazi or any means to survive they result to crooked means due to a non existent job market.
Daktari’s administration knows that not all of you should or can be white collar workers.
Thus they shall invest in improving blue collar craft industries thus technical institutions whereby many of us can now be able to make a living in a formal manner.
Improving the jua kali sector is the only way to better our employment situation nationwide.
Kudos to JSKS.
High school is preparation for academicians. Watu wanataka kusoma zaidi. If you like history you go to Alliance or Starehe or Mangu. Then on to campus become a philosopher.
Mtu kama Francis @Ndindu anapenda wire. Akimaliza class 6 hivi, tosha gari. Aanze practicals za wire na stima for 3 years, he is ready for the job market. In 20 years he will hire the guy who went to campus as it should be.
Why don’t they do that in India
Magreb, hio university education ndio inatusaidia sahi, education iko pale kupanua akili as they say, kazi ni bidii ya mtu na sio lazima masomo bora basic ya kuhesabu pesa na english kiasi ya kusoma contract
Mhindi kids join family business after finishing their MBAs hapo London School of Economics.
That is how colonialists subjugated africans by ensuring they got the bare minimum education/training to enable them do manual work and forever be chained in the manual labour underclass. They feared educated africans would become exposed and become a problem to the colonial establishment. JSKS is following the same colonial script to ensure tugeges remain ignorant and happily push wilbaros, mikokotenis and sell mutura all their lives while his educated kids serve as ambassadors.
