So, everybody agrees that Jubilee are thieves but let’s look at NASA because Come on, who is kidding who.
Tuanze na Bei ya vitu. The biggest food baskets ziko around MT. Kenya na Rift Valley. Maize is mainly grown in akina Trans Nzoia alafu Mt. Kenya region ina supplement.
Maziwa nayo, watu hawajui that Brookside, owned by Kenyatta family, owns 90% of Milk industry in East Affica. Then again, milk is produced by Rift valley and Mt. Kenya region.
Sasa, kusema ukweli, will NASA govt. go to those regions and beat the hell out of the farmers so that they start selling food at low prices ama watawafukuza Highlands?
Kenya experiences drought every 5 years thus scarcity of food stuff thus more expensive. But then kuna Jamaa Kiambu ana hoard magunia ya Mahindi anagonja higher prices, you do realise that hakuna kitu govt. inaeza mfanyia unless wanunue then sell at a loss?
Sasa kuna ile issue ya kuongezea watu mishahara. Kuna mtu alifanya hesabu akaona that Jubilee iliongeza watu lowest 18% taking them to a taxable range meaning after tax, they go back more than before they were added… Hiyo ni wizi.
But sasa kuna NASA. Hao watu wanazunguka wakiambia watu watalipa madaktari venye wanapaswa(1M according to developed country’s). Sasa hiyo pesa inatoka wapi ama budget itakua recurrent spending over 50% which itakuwa worse than Jubilee Devpt. Budget. Hata hiyo pesa inaibwa na Jubilee haitoshi ikilipa workers wote venye inapaswa. Either one does more devpt.(ideal) ama more salary which will lead to basic needs being more expensive anyway, a circle jack. Big salary ndo maana chai ni 300/= majuu. Hii ndio kitu watu hawajui.
Sasa mtu aki try ku explain hiyo mambo, ebu watu waambie NASA watoe manifesto watu wako na akili wanaeza itikia kwa maana hakuna pahali Mahindi inapandwa kwao na large scale.
Mimi naona independent candidates ndio wanajielewa.
I don’t want to wait and see what they will do, Jubilee walikuwa na Manifesto hawakutimiza ndio maana kila mtu anajua ni wezi. NASA nao wananyamaza so as not to be held accountable.
three weeks ago the government released a million bags from SGR (not the railway!) so millers could drop prices. As of three days ago they had only taken up less than 100K. they cannot bring prices down because the cheaper maize is in Kitale and they have to bear the transport costs. they do not want to bring the cost down perhaps? cartel country…
Upuss. Must be one of Itumbi’s 36 bloggers. What is your regular handle? Your level of reasoning, no wonder Africa despite its resources still lags way behind. Someone that can access the internet with the world of knowledge at his fingertips comes up with this reasoning? o_O
Exactly, sasa hawawezi pigwa viboko no matter the government.
The only way ni govt i set up own millers in which the millers will simply then lower their prices(they have all resources already) leading to govt. having wasted money on infrastructure.
If the govt. succeeds, they will be accused of throwing people out of business contributing joblessness. Then watakua monopoly na waanze bad service n we will be back to square one
Thd issue is morality here. Hakuna kitu gava yoyote inaeza fanya in a democracy
Am no blogger. Sasa nasema Jubilee ni wakora na NASA wanadanganya wakenya unasema ni upuss. Ngoja ni Google itumbi ni nani nione ako gani.
Otherwise, NASA haiwezi fanya Viazi vimee Kisumu ili wauzie wakenya cheap. Watu wa nyandarua wakisema gunia 5K,ni 5K.
Jubilee nayo wanafanya vitu za vision 2030 wakisema ni yao. Alafu hizo decisions zao ati SGR ikimalizika ita cost another 30% of the 300+billion to upgrade to Electricity ni wizi.
Sasa ebu sema side unaona iko sawa instead nianze kuongea nawe nianze ku troll kama wewe.
Sas nani anasema Jubilee ibaki?
Kitu nasema ni hata NASA washinde kwa kuambia waKenya watateremsha bei ya maziwa without saying how, they will be no better than jubilee since haitateremka… Ni uongo tu
The only way ni wanunulie watu wa NASA Ngombe ama wapige farmers(most not from NASA regions) wauze maziwa 20/= per litter ili brookside iuze 50/=. Otherwise hakuna kitu wanaeza fanya… Price is determined by economics not govt. Incase of price quotas, that market dies.
It is about having appropriate economy enablers. If government can do that then prices will go down.
However, I did not expect this reasoning from you "Sasa, kusema ukweli, will NASA govt. go to those regions and beat the hell out of the farmers so that they start selling food at low prices ama watawafukuza Highlands? " and “The only way ni wanunulie watu wa NASA Ngombe ama wapige farmers(most not from NASA regions) wauze maziwa 20/= per litter ili brookside iuze 50/=. Otherwise hakuna kitu wanaeza fanya”
Naah, my point there was only Farm incentives and lowering farming cost of production will work. So the aspirants should highlight that so that they can be held accountable since simple promises have led Kenya nowhere(see Jubilee for reference).
But sasa in Layman’s language, utasema nini ili watu waelewe… That a democracy aspires to be a free market controlled by Economic factors not government regulations ama?
Kwa maana the only real life example yenye ni applicable ni hiyo
Check out the meaning of ‘ad hominem’. It is a popular tactic among the challenged. Instead of answering this poster coherently with facts you insult him. Tells us all the kind of idiot you are…
In society, there are winners and there are losers. Don’t blame the government for your shortcomings, improve yourself. I was once homeless, bouncing from couch to couch. After a while I decided to start from the bottom, and I am happy about how the last 9 years have turned out.
Serikali saidia mentality is crippling your minds. If the cost of living goes up, scale down. If you can’t get a job, start a business, ata ya smokie. Rock bottom should be a wake up call, and if you can’t get up, you’re dead already.
Imports and bad governance are the issue in Kenya and it doesnt happen only via Jubileebut also via NASA but if any of the horses wins not one us here wins unless you are well connected. Actually both groups are thugs and schemers, they will manipulate us for their own gain. Unless we Kenyans change we are headed nowhere.
