One of my main issues with modern church doctrine is the inability of regular congregants to apply critical thinking skills to basic doctrines. If Jesus came to die for our sins, as we’ve all learnt at Sunday school, then it follows that his leadup to death would need people to effect this outcome.
Yet we can clearly see here, that despite doing what he was destined to do, Judas was stripped of disciple status and he later killed himself.
So the key question here is, was Judas right or wrong or neither? @Billy_Graham
