All the international observers tried to convince Raila to concede to no avail. The US ambassador also tried to talk to Raila but that did not stop him from issuing that ridiculous statement yesterday evening.
Sources indicate that Obama is ready to jet in if the situation runs out of control after the declaration of the winner. He is the best placed to convince Raila and his supporters to lie low.
