And worse is on the way this Summer with the arrival of Tanks , AFVs , Missiles and Attillery donated by the USA and NATO …

Heard NATO talking about the possible delivery of F16 Fighter Jets, Abram M1 and Leopard 2 tanks. The issue is though how long will it take the Ukraine Forces to train on their use and maintance ? This is hardware that is largely new to them given their Soviet historical past. Don’t you think they will need at least 6 months or so to aquint themselves with new battle tactics and weapon systems ? Isn’t that duration going to jeopardize their position ? That is the reason why our very own KDF, BATUK, US Marines and any other Military Unit worth it’s salt conduct training manouvres all the time in different terranes. Another issue is the munitions and Spares that shall accompany the hardware is so varied that the logistics plus supply chains must be very well thought out …

Copied and Agreed …it will be interesting to see how NATO delivers the equipment to the front line let alone utilise it without Russian interference (i.e. thru “Contested Logistics”). Having different equipment from the US, Germany, France and the UK will mean having at least 4 different supply lines from these or other friendly nations. A fighting tank requires constant maintenance and requires spares, fuel & a dedicated maintenance crew behind them. Having at least 4 different supply lines that are likely to utilise rail and motorable roads as conveyance across Ukraine makes this a vulnerable option thru aerial attacks. Cut this off and what u have is a very expensive group of sitting ducks at the Frontline. The lack of logistical aptitude and poor supply lines has not only prolonged the war for Russia but actually is one of the key reasons why Russia had to retreat just before the harsh winter set in …this has made them desperate and could box Putin into an unforseen corner

At this point there must be western Special Forces embedded with Ukrainians. No way they can have a crash course of those equipments with advanced computer systems &electronics and be able to effectively utilize them on the battlefield .

I know about this very well, including the fact that Wagner chaps are reported to somehow be in possession of more sophisticated weaponry than the average Russian forces or even tactical teams in some case.
Those weapons are being sent together with technical teams to teach, monitor and possibly destroy the damaged ones that cannot be salvaged before Russians can reach them and assess them. Tactical teams do this destruction and not just anyone out there.
Those small forces are great in battle, not infallible. The Black Hawk incident in Somali tells it all. The Seal team dropped to guard that chopper never made it out alive. The skinnies dealt with them mercilessly. I know two highly trained individuals cannot beat hundreds of poorly trained skinnies who are bent on killing them… attrition takes a lot more than special skills to beat.

Speculation. Traditionally, such wars are not meant to be won. They are fashioned for business. US and NATO nations “market” their weapons by “donating” them and gauging their efficacy in real war. Prospective buyers like Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Qatar, Brunei and such buy them after seeing for themselves how good they are in actual battle. China wends people to those countries and copies the various technologies for own use later. People think that the US lost Vietnam, Afghanistan and Iraq. Those buggers were in those places to test and market their products. If at all they win the war, that is just a plus. Those countries DON’T ever need to win war. They make too much money out of them to ever want them to end.
Removing Putin from power is the goal. Bombing him is farfetched but not an impossible thing. It just won’t happen. Strongly doubt it.
History teaches us that in war nothing is impossible. During the Korean War in the 50s for example Soviet Fighter Pilots covertly flew Mig 15s for the North Korean cause and were sworn to suicide rather than capture should their mission abort …This only came to light many decades later after the end of the cold war :D:D:D[ATTACH=full]492953[/ATTACH]
