Raila will determine the next Kenyan president come 2022. Next, let him militarize government parastatal. The military is government and government is military. Military works for the government. The majority of Kenyans including you and I are extremely corrupt. Soldiers work under commands, what of you who have not been programmed to work under commands. Let the government use its own weapons to manage itself.
It is incredulous to believe that military officers are incorruptible.
Disciplined, and used to order and schedule, yes. Majority of Kenyans have been conditioned to that, from childhood through to high school.
But a shift in values along the line, shaky patriotism and the pursuit for survival led to “liwalo liwe”, the end justifying the means. Some of these military officers also got to those positions based on the same MO.

When they start coming for your lands and property or sabotaging local businesses like the Egyptian military has done since 2013 and what the Syrian one has been doing since the civil war started and the sneaky direction the Thai one is heading is when you will know it matters
The court order only stated that the “transfer was illegal because there was no public participation” but also allowed the military to continue running the facility as public participation issue was sorted. So no court order has been disobeyed.
Giving the devil his due, KMC was dying under corruption, nepotism, mismanagement and debts ( most livestock farmers had to wait for months before getting paid ), since KDF took the helm there’s been major improvement. Farmers are being paid on time and there’s a significant increase in exports. This was a good move.
(We can downplay the fact that the Nanyuki railway line will be transporting livestock from Muthamaki’s Gicheha farm too. Hapo amecheza kama yeye as usual.)
Land grabbers were also subdividing and selling KMC land which is about 20,000 acres. All the grabbers ran away when KDF took control.

Uhuru is sure to get some modicum of support from me if he puts KDF in charge of garbage collection and the day to day operations of public city council toilets.
Fact: most members of KDF joined the forces through corruption, cronyism and tribalism. A former schoolmate of mine has all his siblings in KDF- I guess gunpowder is their DNA.
