Uganda elections

Well, this nation is holding its elections on feb which runs for a week not like our beloved country Kenya.
Things are not rossy at all considering Museveni will not conceede defeat if the outcome favours the opposition and neither will he share power like Kibaki did.
Remember the interview he had with BBC when he said he cant loose election in his own country.
Personally i support him knowing too well someone like Besigye might go Mangufuli way.
The opposition either are not willing to loose this time round.
Words on the street is things might turn ugly.

Never quite understood what it is about elections and politics in general that turns mature male african adults in to primates

Nobody should be president for life," Mr Obama said.“I don’t understand why people want to stay so long, especially when they have got a lot of money,”

How do you know he is a crazy dude? This sense of entitlement by African dictators is pathetic.

African presidents fear that when they relinquish power the new leader will come after their wealth which is stolen loot. Why do u think Kenyan mafia KANU bigwigs Kenyatta n Mois can never allow RAO to be president. Rao will make sure ile shamba zote kenyatta stole irudishwe and Peleka Moi pale nyayo hse afinywe makende

They are not only found in Mathare…

I expected a more compelling response from you. M7 needs to go for that country to realize its potential. If you ask me, I think he is the craziest president in the region (apart from those S. Sudanese dimwits).

O

Okay well. The damn opposition is inexperienced…They need to transit to democracy slowly not overnight…Euphoria and bitterness only hurts an economy

I agree but when will they ever transit to democrazy if that old man has the country by the balls? Sometimes a move similar to Kibaki 2002 is needed for a country to come to terms with itself.

I agree but the team in 2002 had balls.Thats what Besiigye et al should learn they should not wait to be beneficiaries of change

The only way they could beat M7 is by Mbabazi and Besigye choosing among themselves one contender, which can ever happen.
The latter was fixed by the former when he was still in NRM.
Mbabazi still holds his NRM membership card which he has refused to return.

Mbabazi ni NRM damu. He’ll just divide opposition votes and after M7 wins/rigs he will come back to the fold.

Everyone thinks along the same lines.
They just pretend they don’t see each other eye to eye to divide the opposition votes.
I heard some generals including his own brother wanted him(M7) not to vie this time round.

You have an year to decide if you wanna stay when it gets ugly. On the other hand, Museveni should do the honarable thing and loose squarely. btw I don’t know about the politics there but I doubt if those two guys can pull what the opposition did here in the 90`s.
