There’s talk that south sudin oil might be coming thru Uganda, where they’re building a refinery to take advantage of (some of) said crude and regional reserves. Uganda is less incentivised to build their own pupeline thru tz (cheaper) if they already have patnership in an existing pipeline

There is a difference between a crude pipeline, the TZ one, and a refined products pipeline, the Kenyan one.
