Kenyan consumer goods company, Bidco has launched Ugali noodles with sukuma wiki flavor as it targets at local noodle-lovers.
It will most likely fail to take off. Consumers who buy chicken or beef flavoured noodles do so because they can’t afford chicken or beef. On the other hand, ugali and sukuma are readily available and few consumers will be willing to buy something that mimic them.
