Uchumi in the news again!

UCHUMI supermarket has hit the news again and not for recovery … but as you might have guessed it for its reloaded hobby of disappearing with suppliers monies and employees’ salaries

From last night Uchumi Tanzania employees refused to leave the supermarkets fearing that the supermarket was planning to close without paying them their dues that run into billions of shillings (offcourse TZS). The standoff has now escalated and now the suppliers have joined the employees and have taken camped at the shops demanding their dues…
