when and where did this happen?

Have you noticed the water looks cleaner than on the Kenyan side?

From reports, the shore was about 50 meters from where the ferry sunk. People can easily swim that length. But many Africans never learned how to swim.

Swimming requires one to have the patience to learn.
I lived at the coast for like 5 years. I cant swim even an inch.

Btw, where is @mukuna ? Jamaa wa kuogopa maji.

Really! And where did you grow up? I spend my entire childhood swiming in River Khalaba in Bungoma.

I have tried swimming only once in my life. It was khalaba. Hiyo side ya lumboka huko chini. I have never tried again. I am horrified

I grew up near River Nyando FYI.
Swimming aint my thing…

I come from the lower side, actually Kitinda and Khalaba join in our shamba, somewhere between Musikoma and Sibembe.

4-5 days max @ 20 min max per day. And you can swim 20 m easy. That’s how much patience is required to learn.

Most coasterians can’t even point you to the beach in Mombasa. Have no idea where the beach is.

Shiet!

Does Maghufuli need aid or assistance from outside or he’s self sufficient the way he likes to chest thump?

On the Kenyan side it is green with algae even on Google maps it has a different colour. We need to stop discharging effluent and washing vehicles in the lake.

There were at least four hundred people on board, but the boat has a capacity of 100 people. It is illegal to exceed your capacity
