I lived at the coast for like 5 years. I cant swim even an inch.

Really! And where did you grow up? I spend my entire childhood swiming in River Khalaba in Bungoma.

I come from the lower side, actually Kitinda and Khalaba join in our shamba, somewhere between Musikoma and Sibembe.

4-5 days max @ 20 min max per day. And you can swim 20 m easy. That’s how much patience is required to learn.

Most coasterians can’t even point you to the beach in Mombasa. Have no idea where the beach is.

On the Kenyan side it is green with algae even on Google maps it has a different colour. We need to stop discharging effluent and washing vehicles in the lake.
