Two lionesses that escaped from Nairobi National Park and were sighted on Wednesday at Sholinke Trading Centre, about 8km from the park and KWS to place nearby residents on high alert and urge reduced movement.
KWS says rangers are already on the ground with veterinary teams moving in to track, dart, capture, and return the animals to the park, while residents were advised to keep children indoors and report any sightings through official emergency contacts as the operation continues.
