I need someone who has Twitter premium to tell me whether their search results, while filtered by “Near You”. show local results or they just show results from everywhere but with “near me” included. I have to figure out whether my account is the problem or it’s all of Twitter.
This is what searching “Telephone” looks like after selecting the Near You search filter. All search results have the phrase “near me” in them.
I’m assuming that selecting “Near You” included “near:me” in the search terms in the text box but the system is broken. So instead of fetching location data, it’s just including the call terms for the location function in the search results.
