Indeed Africa is a bantu continent, @Ice_Cube , not just diction but majority of the words are similar, Mniango for door, maroro for dreams, vusiku for usiku, bine for four, biri for two, ruma for send, zothe for all, khuku for chicken, khumi for ten, ndlovu for elephant, vala for count, bona for seeā¦Africa is one people, I wish we realized that and existed as one instead of allowing politicians to divide us. I feel very much at home whenever am in Zambia, Namibia, Zimbabwe, South Africa because I understand what they are saying. Actually in Kenya its a bit harder when you encounter a nilote or Cushite speaking in vernacular, but most of west/central and southern Africa you are sure to understand 40% of their speech.
A lot of them are basically the same language group who modify it along rge wat due to various factors. https://encrypted-tbn3.gstatic.com/images?q=tbn:ANd9GcQCvLSBTrRN071_fmHHaYL56y2FZFvCHw5c1sFfxRJoh9B3T6dI
