Kenyan music has been shitty since time immemorial. Hata heri akina Les wa Nyika na kina Freshly Mwamburi. Hawa wengine ni nonsense tu wamekuwa wakiimba. Nothing makes Kenyan music unique. Not even the beat. Kuna beat utaskia tu ujue hio ni Congolese Rhumba, hio ni Bongo, South African, Nigerian/Ghanaian. Sisi hatuna. Ni upus tu.
Benga and Ohangla are Kenyan Original Beats…but you won’t know that anyway. 
Luo Music is sweet anytime.
I’m not talking about village music. I am not a Luo so there is no way I would listen to it tho I do listen to my vernacular music. I’m talking about mainstream music that can be listened to everyone and beyond the borders too.
