Trump cannot impose tariffs under Section 122 despite what he said today.
Section 122 only authorizes tariffs in the presence of a fundamental international payments problem.
Because the United States does not face such a problem, it cannot legally be used to impose new tariffs.

Illinois Gov. JB Pritzker just sent Trump a BILL for $8,679,261,600 for ILLEGAL tariffs hammering families in his state.
He says if Trump doesn’t pay up, he’ll sue his ass.
PRITZKER:
“ On behalf of the people of Illinois, I demand a refund of $1,700 for every family in Illinois.
There are 5,105,448 houscholds in my state, bringing the total damages you owe to $8,679,261,600.
The Supreme Court has ruled that this is yet one more unconstitutional act by you and your administration.
This letter and the attached invoice stand as an official notice that compensation is owed to the people of Illinois, and if you do not comply we will pursue further action.”
