It’s intentionally vague. Sisi kama Arsenali tumeshinda ligi. Sisi kama wakikuyu tunajua biachara sana. It’s very mob and assuming. Anyway we should contact Wetangula atusaidie na maneno ya gold.
Gold is a commodity like any other. It’s the most useless thing(industrial wise ), its only saving quality is its rarity but again ‘we’ have plenty of it.
I wonder gold dealers watafanya nini if one day physics discovers a fusion method of protons and neutrons to any desired atom.
Nobody said that Africa has a monopoly of minerals. Africa’s mi erals are easiest to and cheapest to extract. Cheap labour, cheap license that can also be circumvented, little to zero restrictions on exporting etc. You shoot yourself on the foot and betray the taksin swelling your cheek when you say that developed countries are hoarding which justifies the argument that they are interested in Africa’s minerals.
Our independence leaders were the problem. They set up our culture and attitudes towards development. While Mahatma Gandhi imparted the culture of the cottage industry in India and pride among the people in embracing local industry. What did our Jomos, Kaundas and Banda’s do? They imparted a dependency syndrome

Hoarding is a real thing. Especially oil and rare earths. China has for 5 years in a row cut down production of rare earths despite growing demand by its own industries. Feds in US probably hold a similar view on oil and other minerals they have.
