Most mechanics cannot put gearboxes back together properly and if something is worn out hapo, its likely other parts zitaanza pia kuisha. Just buy second hand complete gearbox vile @Rene Descartes amesema.

the problem with auto gearbox is that if one part such as the valvebody is spoilt there is probably another problem like worn bands, burnt or worn clutches, faulty pump, worn lock up mechanism. all because of faulty operation a long time before the thing stalled. Local mechanics are unlikely to know how to inspect that. in fact not many can assemble the gearbox. its not straightforward like the engine. In fact understanding how it works is an headache for most people. Solution is to replace.
