TOURISM ALONG THE KENYAN COAST ON THE RISE

Hey folks, you refused to give me a through pass of a lightskin big momma in Mombasa, but ni sawa.
I made this observation, that during this August duration, they was a lot of influx of tourism funds along the Kenyan coast. During the month of August, I have been to Mombasa and Malindi thrice, and one thing that convinces me of the growing tourism is the mode of travel. If you check the budget airline carriers between Nairobi and the Coast, you will agree with me that those guys made a kill. Not unless you booked a flight two weeks earlier, chances were high that you would not easily get a seat. Almost all budget planes were fully booked. Same as SGR, whenevr I tried booking it, it was always full. Also the bus companies had an upsurge in its passenger intakes, thats why on several occassions i spotted a Citihoppa and Rukagina Sacco ferrying passengers. As if that was not enough, most budget hotels, thats hotels in the range of 1500 - 5000, most were fully booked, especially during the first and second weeks of August. If you visited restaurants, bars, resorts they were always full. From my estimation, the service industry in the coastal region made more than Kshs. 5 billion during this festive season.
This weekend, I was in Ukunda. White folks all over, domestic tourists all over. My view is that if Mombasa, Lamu, Malindi and Diani got its hit together and infrastructure is enhanced, those places can really grow.
