Province, covering 96.8km.

classification.
Areruya, 20, finished second in
last year’s 938.5km edition
clocking a total of 23 hours 56
minutes and 35 seconds.
He came behind champion Jean-
Bosco Nsengimana, who won the

54 minutes and 50 seconds,
hence becoming the second
Rwandan to win the event since
2009 when it became part of the
UCI Africa Tour.
Areruya is among the 15 riders
that have been selected by
Rwanda Athletics Federation
(FERWACY) to carry Rwanda’s
flag during the 2016
competition.

Cycling is my hobby and I ride with a passion, ingekua uwezo wangu i would be in Rwanda ground zero following the race as it unfolds. Can’t see Kenya hosting such an event even in the far future
Was wondering the same, lakini huyo Areruya ako na chance ya kuingia pro cycling ya big teams bana @20 yo he has a future. Should have data though on speed, cadence et al tujue how they compare against other pro tours
