Some cheap prosperity gospel delusions right there?
What do you take God to be?
Do you even think what is an earthly miserable corporate title in front of God? Let me tell you: it’s absolute rubbish. But of course you have to justify yourself to yourself.
Why dont Christians ask for blessings in terms of having a compassion, loving and forgiving heart? It’s all about Range Rovers and titles
Look, God is NOT there to endorse your cravings for materialism and vanity as prosperity gospel would want you to believe.
You dont go to God so that you can use Him to advance your own, miserable earthly ambitions. You go to Him so that He can use you to advance His spiritual agenda.
Why dont you people answer this question i have been asking for ages?: If jesus was all about material prosperity, why weren’t his disciples filthy rich? (BTW, they were a thousand times more faithful than current ‘christians’ ). I suspect Peter’s fishing business collapsed. Mathew, the tax collector, definitely lost the taxman perks after his conversion.
In fact, a true Christian will become poorer materially because he will be using his wealth(after renouncing worldly vanities) to at least reduce human misery wherever he sees one. Yet you’re trying to imply that once you believe in God, he has an obligation to bless you materially. He doesn’t have that obligation.
And what will you say of those non believers who are very successful in their careers? In fact, many of the ‘who is who’ in the world aren’t believers…
Some of you Christians make God look very petty. If your reasons for believing in God arent spiritual, you’re wasting your time. God is not a capitalist, willing to reward ‘believers’ with mammon so that ‘sinners’ can be ashamed. In fact, i suspect He is highly disgusted with heartless capitalism that’s everywhere in the world.
So the young woman got a ‘GOOD Salary of $9800 us dollar per month, free accommodation & with a Brand new CAR’…what’s that to God? That’s not God; that’s earthly scheming being mistaken for ‘blessings’ from God but this is God: 'So the young woman got a ‘Forgiving heart, learnt to love everyone, repented her sexual filth and vowed to be spending half of her salary, serving humanity’. That is the power of real God.

utueleze how you decided that this is a “touching” story, as you wait for @introvert. Your osungu.dll is too heavy for the forklift.

I drove the fork lift to the gas station and asked for an LPG refill, quoting this hekaya… I said the bill would be paid by the Man Upstairs…
They told me to go drying…
That said, Osungu.dll is overwhelmed.

Respect God regardless of religion. Muhammed Ali broke it down very well…

@karl marx kwani siku hizi unakunywa kikombe cha wisdom every morning?

Very true. And I think that respect means not taking Him to be one big cuddly teddy bear.

I stopped reading at that point. Why, you ask… Because it lumps all Christians together. So you are making a point from a jaundiced view. I am a Christian. I do not fall prey to some stupid prosperity gospel purveyors, yet I still have time to respect each and every other person’s religion or lack of it. Why do people have this issue of trying to lump Muslims or Christians together to cast the name of their religions in bad light? Yani a grown ass man cannot just explain somethign without using prejudice?
