I watched Top Gun Maverick last night. It’s a great 10/10 movie, and I think the experience would be better in the cinema.

I think what makes the movie great is that Tom Cruise used real navy fighter jets to film. Very little CGI was used in the movie production.

I also did some little digging to found out Kenya air forces jets. Kumbe Kenya tunatumia outdated F-5 fighter jets za 1960 :D:D:D

Venye kwa hiyo movie wanasema F-14 iko too outdated, haikosi F-5 jets za Kenya ni scrap metal zinaeza kupatia tetanus.

The actress (Kelly Ann McGillis) he co-acted with in the original Top Gun movie in 1986 is a shosho. That actress even said she’s “too old and fat” to appear in Top Gun 2.

Anyway, the film has grossed $1.4 billion and Tom Cruise will get a big fat cheque as the producer and actor.

Kenya doesn’t need modern fighters because we have no “serious” enemies at the moment. Keep in mind Jomo bought the F-5s kutisha Idi Amin who kept trying to test us and the Tanzanians with his military.

You will be surprised what money, TRT, and plastic surgery can do. Most Hollywood stars don’t age naturally. They know that their looks matter alot for TV and some will go to great lengths to delay aging. However, I think those procedures haunt them later. Consider this:

TRT will make a 50 year old lift like a 30 year old.

Money will buy the best quality meals and a skilled dietician. It will also buy the best exercises and experiences. Remember, people are more likely to live healthy lives if they do what they love. The average person might afford a gym, but maybe he prefers taking hikes or riding bicycles. He doesn’t have the time or money to do those often enough. His adherence to the gym wont be that good because he doesn’t like it.

Plastic surgery will remove wrinkles, crow feet, etc.

Ever looked at twins but one looks 10-15 years younger? Its usually the richer one who looks younger. Example: Grant Cardone and Gary Cardone.

Kenya currently does NOT need an airframe higher than the F-5, which incidentally is still used by developed countries like Taiwan. The US still uses B-52s manufactured in the 1950s!

What Kenya needs are competent pilots for those F-5s and modern avionics and loads for the jets. Hiyo tuu…

Otherwise Kenya would be better served investing in lift, attach helos and SF units.

There’s this guy in the movie who said that it’s not about the plane but the pilot perfect example that I can relate with Miraa drivers.
