Yes! Another reason why schools run by religious bodies need to be given some type of makeover.
On the one hand, some areas benefit very largely in terms of education because of the presence of religious bodies. On the other hand, suppressed information plus sexually molested children isn’t worth learning your ABCs. There has to be a middle ground.
It was taught in school. Yes, I was lucky enough to be able to get “the talk” at home, but it was part of our curriculum in about two different subjects plus a “welcome back to school” session each time we came from holidays.
