Todays proverb

Gutiri murio utainagia ruthia
Literal translation: There is no
pleasure (however little it may be)
that does not cause one’s cheeks to
tremble.
Contextual note: The Kikuyu consider
the cheek trembling an expression of
joy.
English equivalent: A little pleasure
is nevertheless a pleasure.
