Today we salute and remember our gallant warriors who have paid with their lives to defend our mother country from the al shabab menace from lamu to kismayu, manderra to omar jillo, el wak to busar, khadija ali to hosingwho, mogadisho to dhobley, nothern sector, central sector to southern sector everywhere they are here in kenya to somalia. Take a minute to pray for them and their families. God bless the KDF God bless Kenya

I also remember in July 2013, a UN report found strange bedfellows in the somalia charcoal trade …but never mind. KDF has been exemplary in being the solution to Somalia decades war. The decadence that Al Shabaab oversaw was reversed. The wastage of a chance to shine at westgate also comes to mind. It still remains a regrettable event in this country, all with the CCTV cameras shown across the globe by CCTV, Al Jazeera, CNN et. al.

once a soldier always a soldier,respect.in 1996, moi ordered all nys recruits to be trained by the army,we trained hard but we were never given the chance to serve the country as soldiers.

@gashwin,majority of us expect some from moi backyard were under the age of 22,so the mainstream armymen knew we were an elite force in making so they derailed the whole thing and when moi ordered that we be absolved in the army,they fucked us big time by saying we were to be recruited as other kenyans or you bribed them with 30000
