To Quit or not to saidieni

Wadau saidieni hapa.

So I have been working with a childhood friend for the better part of the year as his assistant on a certain contract that he landed sometime back last year.

Now his contract has expired and the management thinks he is too controlling and full of himself simply because he knows he is the best in what he does, and they want to let him go and hire us; we are two technical guys that worked directly under our guy.

He advised us not to take any job from the management simply because they couldn’t fika his Price, jamaa asked us to Quit pamoja Na yeye .

Mimi Niko sawa with what the company is offering as salary but my guy ataki tupate riziki yetu claiming that ako Na contract ingine already.

Majamaa nifanye aje

no brainer, chat your own path take over the contract from him.

Actually the company asked him to train us vizuri ndio akue ana show up Kama freelancer and they agreed but jamaa sasa anadai Niki Quit Na Quit Na watu wangu

A bird in the hand is worth two in the bush.

Tricky situation… wazee wa kijiji mko wapi?

Take the contract and reverse the role, offer him the assistant position. Its business not personal. Even if he refuses, credit for you for being honest and forthright. If he is a real man he will understand that.

If you are upto the task why not? The tone of this post confirms you want to do the job without him.

…take the job. he sounds like someone with ego, huko nje kunawez kauka mmurudishe job,but TAKE THE JOB

The rule of the thumb is to secure the bag…so mahali ni sure bet weka hapo.Cuz no need to short change yaself to show loyalty if the pay is uncertain.Team play isn’t about loyalty its about smart play…am tired of typing you can build from that whatever way its your fate

I agree loyalty is good that is why I said he should be honest, tell him and explain why. That is loyalty. A man would be pragmatic about it and let him be. Yeah the disappointment is there but who knows what the future holds. If you settle this right now, you can be helpful to each other in the future.

Sio ivo mwana kijiji, he is a guru and I respect him it’s just that anataka ni kose kazi Na yeye anajua awezi maliza mwezi bila contract ingine

case of snitches get stitches:D:D:D:D:D

Wrong song mwenzangu.
Remember am not asking the company to drop him at my expense ni yeye ame demand a hefty pay that the company ain’t ready to pay

Skia sasa

It is always best practice to work with someone who is average on performance but has a good attitude. Because performance can be learnt but attitude is something else.
From your description, This arrogant types don’t go far and don’t blend in with team work.
Keep the job where you are and tell him you need time to think about his offer. Within 3 months you will know what to do.

Nukisha kitunguu kesi baadae…kwani family yako inategemea yeye ama wewe ?

Sasa wewe unafikiria Kama @Duke of Busia I was for the idea I work for 4 months n I hepa to somewhere else hapo I will have solved my current financial situation
