To Lenovo Owners

He is just careless, how do u even break a power button.

Quite easily he had the laptop in the bag when it happened seems something pressed against it. The button is on the right hand side of the machine, kuna soo many complains about this check online. Lenovo should have isolated the button not had it soldered on the motherboard probably following in Apple’s footsteps.

Never had issues with it to be honest.

That particular model? The design team must have foreseen the fault and included the reset button. Lenovos are good machines like the other manufacturers there are flaws in some models. Like some HP Pavilion models had an overheating issue…

never had issues and its not a common problem going by the lack of demand in repair

It’s an issue with Windows 10, you need to update your drivers. I had the same problem.

The problem isn’t that the brightness control isn’t working; it’s the minimum brightness that is too bright. In other words, not fit to use indoors. I literally have to put shades over my prescription glasses (which have UV coating btw) in order to semi-comfortably use these newer laptops.

My Lenovo ThinkPad P52 came in just the other day. It’s brilliant - although getting Linux to behave took a bit of work… Everything is now honky dory!!
