It’s a great diagnostic tool, just to aid, so , many times you still need some ujuzi. I mean how do you diagnose a faulty ignition coil. And which one of the 4/6 is bad? The more expensive the reader, the more you can pinpoint the fault. There are some vehicle specific, made for the car manufacturer. Those will cost you 2-300k. Those are the ones the vehicle designers used.
