Tizen or Android OS

Tizen
[ul]
[li]It is an open source Operating System[/li][li]The OS is Compatible with various mobile platform. Application built on Tizen can be launched on iOS and Android too with few changes.[/li][li]The Tizen OS is so Flexible to offer many applications and adapt too, with little changes[/li][li]Immense personalization capability supported by ARM x86 processor[/li][/ul]
It was supposedly thought of as Tizen OS will replace giant OS market of Android & iOS but it did not turn so. Tizen is being used in many Samsung mobile devices today but it could not replace Android & iOS completely.

Android as we know it, is the market leader in mobile device OS and needs no introduction. I would have added iOS but due to peculiar tastes of billionaires who are it’s intended users, it would be fairly disadvantaged in the peasant market.

Tizen will never pick up against android.
For a platform to pick up you need DEVELOPERS. How many of those develop their apps for Tizen?
Uliza Blackberry OS ya @jimmy_m vile kulienda. ama Windows ya @junkie

Samsung is aware of that and they are giving every incentive (in form of $4 million prize fund) to developers to come up with apps to entice users to take up Tizen.

Windows is slowly evolving; hata kama haitafikia Android, bado ipo…

Symbian OS also died the same way

WebOS was also great. As for Symbian… Nokia made some poor choices

I think Tizen can still make it given that it is an open source linux based OS. Samsung doesn’t necessarily need developers of its own but give freelance developers a reason to spend their time developing apps for Tizen.

I bought a small Samsung phone today for the MWKs the Forensics the main phone has been going through ni noma sana.
Anyway Tizen app store has very little apps.
I tried installing google play store and it has refused even after disabling the app permissions.

saw leo an ad on nation gazeti for a samsung z3 4g going for 7k…was rushing to safaricon shop kubuy, sneaked a pic on gsmarena to see its specs nikapata powered by tizen.nilienda local na hiyo pesa

meant z2…fombe imeshika

I dont think tizen is trying to outdo android just want people to experience diversity.i personally get bored with android sometimes thats why i always keep my pc windows, my music player ipod, and my phone android and am definatelly getting that tizen z3

Nothing can replace android OS. Nilijaribu just kuadapt Windows for 2 days nikashindwa. If you love Google products then its going to be weird if you wont use android.

The ground is being set for the Internet of things. When that time reaches, you will need Tizen. It is a long term strategy given that Samsung is a leader in many electronics. Sony is partnering with Android on the Internet of things, LG will develop their OS. Methinks the Note 7 debacle was sabotage

Ever heard of Brillo?
