Has anyone in this village ventured into Timber business, am planning on purchasing a powersaw. My home people are selling trees especially cypress. Also there is sn abundance of bluegum and for poles needless to mention firewood for hotels plus i have a Lorry for transport. I got space in one of the Estates in Eldoret where i live, How is the business. What are the prons?

Cut a few trees, dry the wood and start making furniture like tables, wardrobes, kitchen cabinets, etc(with help from utube). These thing are coming from China and are not cheap.
