thoughts

Jana nilikuwa natoka tao then i saw a guy amelala kwa streets amejifunika na polythene na blanketi chafu kama fuck and it got me thinking
Today is the last day of the year, some of us have had splendid ones and others not so splendid…some have not nailed deals they wanted, some have been screwed by spouses, bosses n friends na wengine ni kama waliamka na mguu ya left for 52 weeks. BUT as we close have you remembered to be grateful? you may think you have nothing to be grateful for but wait
some niggas scramble for food kwa pipa ya takataka, sleep on the streets and are not sure about tommorow…Be grateful you have had something to eat for the past year ata mahindi choma…kama unakula sukumawiki daily kama ni strungi na ugali be grateful

ata uwe na job kwa mhindi ama equity teller…be grateful someone somewhere anaomba ata ya mjengo …kuna mtu ametarmac miaka nne…ata kama salary ni ndogo be grateful first then complain later

most of us are healthy …have you ever visited kenyatta cancer ward and seen the suffering that happens there.you have eyes; somebody is blind; 2 perfect legs; somebody else disabled; you can hear and talk; somebody somewhere is deaf and dumb

lastly, family. do you appreciate your parents enough? whether single mum, single dad or both parents because somebody somewhere in a childrens home a child has nobody interested in them or their life and asks God why their life is that way …so once again be grateful for those parents you have

so tukifunga mwaka dont only look at the negatives remember to be grateful as you work for more because somebody somewhere lacks what you do not appreciate

HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!

There was a poster we used to have in most sitting rooms…something like… I was complaining I didn’t have shoes. When up the road I met someone with no legs.

That’s right, @mollisleloaded. Most of us never stop to think how privileged we are to have the much we have.

Hi

I’ve always counted myself lucky for having the opportunity to grow up in very diverse environment which allowed me to understand different life experiences. I can put myself in other people’s shoes very easily because of this fact.

I have grown friends, some older than I am, who have a very jaded view of life… it’s not that they are bad people, they are just product of their upbringing. The best, however, are those who put an effort in changing their views… those ones I respect.
