Next door in some parts of Mount Kenya farmers are feeding cabbages to their cattle due to tanked market prices. Reminds me during uhuru’s first term the government distributed bags of maize to Nyandarua residents to “mitigate” the hunger. Nobody picked the maize since they said that iyo mahindi ni ngumu sana. At the time, residents of Northern Kenya were literally feeding on dogs
