This man Julius Mwale

I’ve been watching the property show on NTV and they had a special feature on the Mwale Medical and Tech Ciry in Butere,Kachmeka.

For those who don’t know him,his name has been mentioned countlessly in the .Ke media in the last decade.

Apparently his story is that he’s a former Kenya Airforce officer who is a tech genius . The story goes that he fell out with the KAF officials around 2000 over intellectual property issues and sought asylum in the US where he went on and got got admitted at Columbia for a MSc in Computer Eng as a special admit, this, despite lacking a Kenyan Degree.

He was once detained for defaulting a 3.4M hotel bill at Norfolk where he used Oparanya’s name to get away and ran back to the US. Someone else by the name Tindi Mwale,(current Butere MP aspirant) has been rumored to be his relative. TM was recently charged with fraudulently withdrawing pesa from a HFC diaspora client’s account by hacking into her email and sending instructions to the bank.

Julius Mwale is the CEO of SBA Technologies Inc which in 2013 was hoping to raise $700M for 10% through a NASDAQ IPO. No one knows what happened.

In Kenya though, his Medical and Tech City seems to be going right.

A similar post on him appearing on RCB in 2010 led to his legal team both in Kenya and the US approaching Rich to pull it down. They sent him court papers originally meant for NMG because of the Norfolk story that had appeared on Business Daily.

I’m posting this because he’s obviously calling on investors for the tech City set for completion in 2020.

Swali ni, would you put your money there? Azande.

Here are the court papers to NMG and the story of his brother.

Here’s the link to the Nipate/RCB post and how Rich was instructed to pull the post down.
