"The Mt Kenya business community yesterday protested against President Kenyatta’s poor policies that have led to over-taxation, closure of companies and a weak economy.
They said high taxes, heavy borrowing, mismanagement of public funds and corruption have destroyed the economy.
The business community met ANC party leader Musalia Mudavadi in Thika.
Good start…atleast they are now doing it publicly…but why meet Musalia mudavadi?..he is a mere citizen just like them…why not directly address Uhuru?
Uhuru is not above critism whether you voted for him or not…his policies affect everyone …so openly critising him should not bee seen as pro opposition jamani…you can like president Uhuru as a person but his presidency is below average
Uhuru ni kiongozi anayeweka maslahi ya kibinafsi mbele ya maslahi ya nchi. He is only there to do business with the government and further increase the wealth of Kenyatta family. He knows what he’s doing!
When Mt Kenya MPs sought to meet Uhuru and ask for significant development projects in the region, the State House born and raised and very entitled guy called them washenzi.
The businessmen did not want to be called washenzi
Tulieni sindano iingie vizuri. Business community ni watu wanauza counterfeits zinaua Wakenya alafu mnakuja hapa kulialia, find smth else to do and stop whining at the govt.
We have a problem in Kenya, the presidency seems to be at the center of prosperity for all. Despite the fact that our constitution limits his powers, the president is still the ‘answer’ to all problems. This culture we must change. We must make our people realize that they are independent and the constitution provides for basic rights. We ought to find a way out because not everything can be solved by the state. If parliament cannot lobby for reforms then they ought to go home. Still, no govt stays in power forever, so, they ought to remember their time limit.
