Toyota, have realized this CVT mistake and newer cars have ecvt or a CVT that only engages in high gears, lower gears they still drive on normal gears.

Bado tu ni CVT with the option of an electrical instead of a hydraulic actuator. CVTs are meant for low-torque applications, superb fuel economy, and ease of driving (hakuna lag associated with AT gearboxes when changing gears). If you need high torque for towing and other load applications, tafuta gari ya DCT or AT gearbox.

Taxation msee. I was shopping around for a Yamaha MT07 bike and I was shocked to discover that the price for a 2017 model in Kenya is the same as a new 2025 model in the US!
