While on a road trip with my kids I had to overtake a couple of these monsters, I had to do some serious physics calculations to manage that without going over the speed limit, highway patrol nao! The highlight was the LOUD horn they sounded for my kids while we drove by the driver’s cabin

The deafening horns! And I believe the kids were thrilled by those horns!

I have seen a documentary on these Beasts but to be honest,the only difficult thing about driving them would be Reversing and going round sharp bends. And in a large spacious country like Australia that problem doesn`t exist. They would never work in most countries in the world especially urban areas juu ya kukata corner.
I once got stuck in a Dead end road and it took me about 2 hours to reverse out,by the time i got out i was soaking wet in my own sweat. … And that is just One Artic.

The reason they are mostly used in Australia is that they are favourable for long distance transits from port cities to inland towns and cities, huko you may find such highways are just a long straight stretch across arid areas, nikama kutravel from mombasa to kisumu on a straight highway through the desert.
