The Truth About The Economy

The government claims that inflation in down to its lowest level in years. And checking the data, that is true on the surface of it. However, it is important to understand what inflation simply means the amount of money circulating in the economy.

You can clearly see what happened to our money supply in June and July during Gen Z protestors. The money supply dried up, and has never recovered, which explains the inflation going down.

Another cause for the low inflation is the low international fuel prices. However, Kenyans have not enjoyed the full benefit of these low prices since the government introduced the 7 shillings per liter road levy.

We should be seeing much much lower fuel prices by a whole 7 bob.

Another cause of inflation is food prices. So far, food prices are down because of good weather. However, we know after the good weather, the clueless government will suddenly realize their stores are empty as the sunny weather sets in. it has failed to capitalize on the current good weather to prepare the poor for the coming hardship.

in short, nothing the government has done has helped with the current performance of the economy. We are also at risk of a deflation.

Hiring an army of bloggers to spread propaganda wouldn’t revive the economy or put money in people’s pockets. This is just a waste of public funds and wouldn’t deliver any political dividend. You can’t lie your way out of a non-performing economy. You can’t lie to people about their economic situation.
