By CAPITAL REPORTER, NAIROBI, Kenya Nov 7 – Narcotics worth millions of shillings have been confiscated at the Jomo Kenyatta International Airport while on transit to New Zealand and China.
The drugs – which include heroine and methamphetamine – were seized by detectives from the Directorate of Criminal Investigations.
The drugs, officials say, were concealed in a carton containing makeup kits.
Police say they are looking for the suspects involved.
