These are TV personalities. I know a quite few African billionaires (SH) and I assure you despite the wealth they are not socialites and live rather modest lives. The same can’t be said about their kids though.

Tusidanganyane ati mbirrionaires don’t live large. They do but do so within their means which is beyond a kawaida guy’s reach.
Shida ni the kawaida guy oftenly tries to overstretch their reach hence giving an impression that they boasting. A rich guy dont need to show that he’s got money cus he’s at the top of the food chain/pyramind or warrefa… When you live within your means you’ll nefa appear to be proud. Hapo ndipo iko sida. It is all in the psychology my friends.

stinginess ingine ni kama kurogwa…hata bibilia imekataza…"
Prov 24 The world of the generous gets larger and larger; the world of the stingy gets smaller and smaller. 25 The one who blesses others is abundantly blessed; those who help others are helped. 26 Curses on those who drive a hard bargain! Blessings on all who play fair and square!

my boss back then used to have one the richest individual in this country as a client … we would do designs for this Nigga worth millions but he would pay in small amount of 60-70k or sometimes he randomly writes a big cheque which was very rare. I once asked my boss why he tolerates his bs…but the answer I got surprised me. he told me rich people are rich because they they hold on to thier money.

Behold, that which I have see to be good and proper is for one to eat & to drink and to enjoy good in all his labor, in which he labors under the sun, all the days of his life which God has given him; for this is his portion.Every man to whom God has given Riches and wealth, and has given him power to eat of it, and to take his portion, and to rejoice in his labor- THIS IS THE GIFT OF GOD" Ecclesiastes 5:18-19

I think its more complex than you see it. Hanging onto your money alone doesnt take you anywhere. I have seen people who believe in saving rather than looking for money, but it still trickles out of their pocket until they got nothing. No clothes, No car, no good house, no worthwhile investment, and broke. you will never know when the guy has money. Nothing changes.
I was such a person long ago when very young(early twenties). A very frugal person. I was never short of money coz the spending was at minimum. I would keep a lot of money and when its gone in six months, a year, or two, I would realise I have nothing. No car, no clothes, no shoes, no good furniture, no women, havent helped anyone, but I can still afford the very basic. Sikuwa na bidii ya investments. I was self sufficient and not needing alot of money. SHIT!! miaka inapita tu. I realized another real merchant of poverty (SAVING). You dont fucking save. You invest. Even if its a cow.

Another thing is that you need motivation. Like if you can buy a plot and put a foundation on it. The thing will be thirsty and you will work to fill it up. money wont be enough for you. I am also realizing that you need a woman to be giving you constant wars. na sijasema you need stupid women.

Yeah. You don’t get rich by spending.

A high thread count woolen suit can be worn here without breaking a sweat.

Ni kama wale malondlord wa eastlando wanapika githeri ya siku nne eti ndiyo wasiende hasara. Na anakula chakula ya thirty bob kwa kibanda ka amedunga tusahara.
