Performing cars like this one shouldn’t have been allowed to go distinct , by 80’s we should have been able to be milling, folding, stamping and casting motor parts.

Most matatu pickups in the 60s-90s were Peugeot

That car was very stable and hardy. It’s like driving a truck over small hills, round curves, or cruising down Mombasa Rd. You just won’t get to take your hands off the wheel, coz it’s all manual, but it shifts smoothlly. Flying squad guys loved the beauty with a station wagon body
