So Mozilla did buy a car some weeks ago. It was lady owned and used for around 6 years. I went with a mech, we checked everything and did the transfer the same day. Here are the costs I incurred to have the car in a better condition
Front wheel suspension both wheels - 7000
New battery[ I needed a dry cell one] - 6000
Rear bushings - 4000
Driver side bearing hub - 3000
Transmission fluid[ b#tch hadn’t changed for 6 yrs - 7000
Service [oil, brake fluid, plugs} 3500
Other costs included labour for mech - 5000
Total cost is like 50k… And its s demio so the parts area bit expensive.
All in all, when buying a used car, brace yourself for these costs. Btw parts are very cheap in grogon, kirinyaga rd

Thats usual for second hand cars. even if you had imported it you would have to service it. sparks, engine oil, ATF(first users never change), labor, battery(factory battery is usually done by 8 years) ,rivets.
